Carter Finley Smith
Finley was a Tricolor Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. Born in Oklahoma on May 26, 2004, he is the littermate of Raleigh. Finley’s favorite pastimes were chasing butterflies and spending time outdoors; especially going on walks. He was the family protector, always patrolling the fences and enjoyed barking at all those who passed by. He loved to perch on top of the couch and was most happy snuggling in a lap. Named after Carter-Finley stadium in Raleigh, North Carolina, Finley enjoyed watching Wolfpack football games each fall on TV. But, his best sports memory was Virginia Commonwealth University wreaking HAVOC on their 2011 Final Four run. He was our loveable “Mr. Mimmy.”
Raleigh Rivers Smith
Raleigh is a Ruby Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. He too was born in Oklahoma on May 26, 2004. Raleigh’s favorite pastimes are playing fetch, sunbathing and swimming. He is the leader of the pack. Raleigh is always quick to share his affection with an abundance of kisses. His favorite time is dinnertime and he’s the first to gobble up his treats. Named after Philip Rivers, Raleigh’s best sports memory is watching video of the 2003 Gator Bowl when N.C. State smashed Notre Dame 28-6. He is our big puppy, “Bigs.”
Buster Wilson Smith
Buster is a Blenheim Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. He is a rescue dog that rescued us in September 2012. Buster’s favorite pastimes are sitting in laps and acting as a human shadow. He enjoys snuggling and is the true definition of a “lap dog.” He loves to run, eat popcorn and welcomes us home with a chorus of barks. Named after Russell Wilson, Buster’s best sports memory is the Seattle Seahawks winning Super Bowl XLVIII. He is our “Buster Boo.”
